but mine was not just the chip... I broke bones as well. I've had a few broken arms... (lost count, maybe 4), and without any doubt the elbow injury was the most painful.

I wasn't like you... it was agony for a few weeks no matter what position I was in or what I did with my arm.

But the 'chip'... that's the lingering injury.. but no pain.. so that's good news, I hope. Since the injury I've never been able to fully straighten my left arm.... I can come close, but not quite all the way. The Doctor's told me this was caused by the 'chip'... they didn't do surgery, and the healing process led to my loss of full movement.

It doesn't bother me... it doesn't restrict me in any way. So good luck... I think you'll be fine. - JamesJM
