that's what my beloved Buccos are already doing, starters lucky if they go 4 or 5, then complete the game with 4 or 5 more pitchers.

More than likely some of that comes from small and mid-market teams having a hard time keeping and paying true long haul, talented starting pitchers. So they go pitching staff by committee.

These arms cost so much money now, I can see trying to save them but who knows.
