I listened to an ESPN reporting who was saying that the most innovating thing he's ever heard of was being contemplated by the Padres. He was startled and said no one had ever thought of it or done anything like that before !! However, I had written the Dodgers a long time ago suggesting the same thing and the response I got was that the "agents" wouldn't agree to it.

Here it is: No longer will there be "starting" pitchers. Every pitcher-no matter how good they are-comes out of the bull pen. I.E. Kershaw throws one inning followed by Hill for another inning and so forth. Because they are never tired-having thrown only an inning-or possibly two-they continue to do this every game! Meaning most of their pitching staff pitches every single game all year long. They become every day players like the rest of the team.

Problem is that most contracts relate to wins and losses, ERA, etc. So agents would have no measures when it comes to contracts, etc.
