That's true... so when I went to England, a few years ago...

I wasn't expecting fine dining.... but guess what... it was good. They have a lot of little 'farmers markets' there... my son and I would visit and come home with some amazing finds... wild boar, venison, and absolutely delicious. I had pheasant, in a restaurant... try getting that here.

Nope, I don't put England as a 'top' choice for great cuisine... but it was very, very good... different, and I'm a big fan of 'different'. - JamesJM
