Joyner came out of a (at the time) bigtime FSU program. Played, slot, safety and CB and had an incredible amount of turnovers. Not just Ints.
He was also the the #1 recruit out of Florida, and the #1 CB recruit in the nation coming out of HS.
Burgess wishes he had those accolades.
And for the record, I love Burgess' upside, and I think he has a higher pro ceiling. But its a false narrative to say Burgess was more highly touted in college. Burgess had literally one season in college.
