I think they gave him a shot to play.
He was the first understudy at center coming off the Super Bowl.
Unfortunately he kinda got exposed.
Then hurt.
When he was drafted it was an ok pick but it was pretty much based on grit and technically sound play.
The good college level guy who doesn't convert.
Like the Alabama All American a few years back who had back issues.
Maybe he isn't done yet but it's a real challenge for him apparently physically.
Wierd thing is that Corbett isn't exactly Hercules strong either .
So there also might be a movement issue for him (Allen) at this level or some weak area in his game that comes out in a dogfight and makes it a bit easier on the DL he faces ?.
