Well, the Rams DL IS better than the ‘19 version in terms of run D, flexibility, depth, and overall talent now that Brockers is back onboard. I look for AD to see somewhat fewer double/triple team blocks because of the better talent of ARob also demanding attention from the opposing OL. This alone could be huge.
About Floyd? He’s a better run defender than either Fowler or Littleton. Reason I framed it that way is because I suspect that Staley is gonna move Floyd around a lot as he tinkers with his ‘new’ D. Another thing I predict from Floyd is an uptick on his career stats resulting from playing around such a DL in general and AD in particular. Happened for Fowler and I think it will happen for Floyd, too.
The question is how do the Rams replace Littleton’s instincts and coverage skills?
