So it's no surprise that Fish contributed to so many players, seeing as how he drafted for half the decade and had a ton of high end picks.
From that perspective McVay has been a victim of his own success. He's made the most from midround pick talent and the FAs the team has added, however I do think it's fair to say the team has squandered some roster talent level through the trades they made to take shots. I'd like to simplify that by blaming Snead, but I'm not sure it was all him in those decisions. I suspect the stadium opening in 2020 drove the importance in taking shots from Kroenke on down even if that actually had an adverse effect on the now.
