And very true up to a point. When the point is reached that superstars are consuming such a large percentage of the cap that the FO becomes starved for funds to keep sufficient 2nd tier players to fill in the gaps around the superstars.
Don’t know where that boundary is, exactly, but I think that maybe the Rams are already flirting with it. And with significant needed extensions on the horizon.
It would be wonderful if the Rams could nail some future strong starters in these next 2 drafts. Would be a godsend for our cap.
