Henderson is behind Gurley and Brown. And we haven't had many game situations where we are running out the clock from a lead. Henderson has juice--that special combo of acceleration and speed. In a one back offense where that back is primarily a blocker in passing situations Henderson is doing as expected imo.
Gaines needs pro off-season. But last game he was dominating Shipley the cards center. Quick off the snap and reestablishing the los on the offense's side of the ball.
Thinking Rapp a little overrated at the moment. He's solid but not this gamewrecker he is currently being made out to be after last week's publicity.
Long is the player I see as being the best from this draft class. Just hard to get in the field w the corners we have. Would love it to be Evans or Edwards too but not too impressed w either of those guys. Doing fine for rookies. But let's see how Evans does vs Lawrence in Dallas.
Rapp is 2nd on the team in total tackles and only a few behind Littleton who has played many more snaps. He's also tied with Littleton for 2nd in Stops and only one behind Brokers. He is very productive. What is it that makes you feel he is overrated and merely solid? I feel he is doing well if not very well.
I'm a big fan of Gaines and feel that he's done every bit as good as SJD who is also playing well. I wonder what happens next year because I can see the both being deserving of starting at the NT spot.
I also like Long like you do. He was one of my favorite picks from this draft class. Having too many corners is a great problem to have.
I think Edwards is doing ok. He's blocking well IMO but needs to calm down on the penalties. Evan OTOH is the surprise for me. Since they reported initially that he was behind I didn't expect to see him this year. But I really like him and feel he's playing well and certainly better than Hav was. What specifically is unimpressive to you?
