WHAT is wrong with Officiating? How can it be fixed??

There's an OBVIOUS problem! The latest being the two HORRIBLE calls against Detroit. And YES.....Last year's NFC Title game was not good....I include Goff's mask being grabbed.

I think before we judge too much, we should know the NFL rating standards of Refs. I am very curious to know if the NFL comes down on Refs hard if they miss a penalty that has safety implications. The NFL has added SO many "safety" rules in just the past 10 years.

The first step to fix things...IMO....is to simply LET THEM PLAY, like they USED to do. If a player grabs and yanks a mask at the LOS?? Sure! Call it! But we see flags tossed if a hand is anywhere close to the face.

Overall, I have no idea. But something HAS to be done. The NFL is getting more painful to watch.
