Warner should be thankful that Martz did go with Bulger because it allowed his body to heal and he ended up playing pretty well in Arizona (after a terrible year in NY)
Burger was a good QB who took far too much punishment behind Martz and then Linehans terrible O-Lines. He was battered by the time he was cut. Warner wouldn't have survived either. In fact, he would have been worse.
I liked Bulger, felt he received a lot of unfair criticism simply because of the man he replaced. Threw a beautiful ball though. And gave ya some great memories (that comeback in Seattle, playoff win in Seattle after the td pass to Cam Cleeland etc)
Amazing after all these years some still love the old Bulger/Warner debate
