Kupp is Rams 2nd most important player.
1) Donald
2) Kupp
He makes all the difference in having the offense a free flowing offense. There is just such a noticeable difference when he plays versus when he doesn't play and Goff is a different player with versus without.
With Gurley being Rationed, Kupp has passed him up and is now #2.
1) Goff
2) Donald
3) Maybe Kupp, maybe Gurley, maybe Woods, maybe someone else.
And to Woods, Kupp and Gurley on that third tier I'd add Littleton, Talib, and Whitworth, maybe Cooks.
Agreed. So many names started coming to mind that I decided to go with 'maybe someone else' to capture all of them.
... and I don't even know how to gauge the value of Hekker (best punter in the league, especially when you include his 'fake punt' value) and Legatron.
Hekker is very valuable and one of the best at his position. But as a punter his value is still limited compared to other positions. How often is that fake punt value actually utilized?
My official way of valuing the players/positions is to follow the money. The GMs and coaches place value on the players and the positions by how much they decide to pay them.
Fake punt isn't utilized very often. The *threat* of the fake punt is utilized ALL the time, and is part of the package that helps the punt team flip the field.
