every team fights through injuries... the last several years the Rams less so than many
losing Higbee and Blythe will stress this oline... they will have to figure it out
This year Higbee and Everett have essentially had a 50/50 snap share. My guess is Everett's snaps will go up.
They won't miss a beat because Everett has become at least Higbee's equal in blocking according to PFF dating back to last year.
The advanced metrics for blocking show that in 2018, Higbee rated 71.7 in pass blocking and 67.2 in run blocking. Everett rated 63.1 in pass blocking and 76.3 in run blocking. Overall blocking they were about even.
This year over 2 games, they are almost exactly even in both categories.
Higbee rates 75.9 in pass blocking and 65.6 in run blocking with 1 pressure allowed.
Everett rates 76.2 in pass blocking and 69.9 in run blocking with 0 pressures allowed.
Here is something that's pretty cool. In overall blocking this year, both Higbee and Everett are right next to each other in top 5 among all TEs.
Since his rookie year when Everett was a bad blocker, he's caught up, and one could argue, has surpassed Higbee as a blocker.
