Weddle injury

Has anyone seen any comments from McCaffrey on Weddles injury as to what he was trying to do or if he's going to slow down the hurdling attempts ?.
To me it appeared he was trying to leap over Weddle when Weddle was standing strait up in a normal posture. Gurley, Brian Leonard,and Marcus Allen maybe all used the hurdle move but I've never seen a worst time to use it than Sunday.
The result is Weddle has a man piggybacking on on his face for a couple seconds too long and the flesh just goes .
Some immediately thought it was a knee to the head , I think it was more like an initial hit with a thigh and gravity slowly working down with the Friction of McCaffrey s descent.
I'll bet you Weddle is kinda hanging on to McCaffrey at same time not making a effort to submarine him ala Pat Thomas and Lynn Swann.

I'd like to hear the story from both sides .
To us is seemed fast ,,
tTo those guys it might have happened almost in slow motion and they might remember the whole kinetic sequence.
I hope Weddle doesn't need a cut man every game like the old Raider FB with the bony brow
