I know I do not post here often, but I read almost daily here. Also as far as rookies go I do not watch any college ball and am really only read on the skills of the incoming players. All my thoughts on incoming rookies can be very flawed.
All that being said from what I read this kids skills set, he can be a home run threat from the backfield and he is very good in the short passing game. So from the very beginning I felt he was insurance for Kupp since our O suffered so much without him out and the other WR's and TE's not being able to really fill the void. I know how hard it can be for a back to become good in the pass protection game and felt he would be longer to be primary backup to Todd if he could not go.
My thoughts can be very flawed but I would really like to hear what the group thinks about these thoughts.
