Will never forgive him for trying a Labeau Leap after the Philly game in the Coliseum Dec 2017. As an ex-Ram, he deserved to get pushed off. Then he tweeted about it. Classless, he should have known better.
people react to things in different ways, certain things mean more than others. i get it.
i took my 2 sons to st louis in august a few years ago to check out a couple days of training camp and a pre season game against the packers. it was august, sunny, hot and humid. after the complete regular training session including some autographs by a handful of players under a tent area, 3 or 4 rams hung out to sign more autographs. out in the open, no shade and the line to get autographs was like a friggin walt disney world e ticket ride line.
well before the 3 of us got up to the signing point, chris long was the only one left out there signing. by the time we got up to him there was still a long line behind us. chris was drenched with sweat. not only did chris sign an autograph for each for my boys, he chatted with them albeit briefly. seemingly in no rush to get out of the sun. involuntarily, i said to him "you are one patient guy". he didn't say anything back, just looked at me kind of confused like "why am i patient? what else would i do?"
this obviously pales in comparison to his humanitarian efforts over the years but it was important to the 3 of us.
i enjoyed cheering for chris when he was a ram. i'm happy for him that he got a couple rings.
