To be optimistic for good reason is not the same as the kind of blind enthusiasm it gets misread as being.
I am optimistic for good reason that the Rams can take the division in 2019. That does not guarantee it, it is not a declaration of what absolutely will happen, it doesn't ignore circumstances, and it's informed and based on valid reasoning. It could also be wrong, which is the same with all opinions on a message board. And people will disagree. That;s all good,
