History textbooks that talk about urban areas will criticize generations past for "fleeing" those areas because of perceived "undesirables." Now that the grandkids (or great-grandkids) of those generations are returning, suddenly that is also being criticized. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

What's being criticized is prices going up in neighborhoods that were once affordable.
