Funny thing about Hollins is that I expected his teammate jelks to be the better of the 2 and when I watched Oregon early last season I came away thinking Hollins was the better of the 2, but that Hollins needed to add some lbs.
Oregon had him listed at 6'-5" 242 lbs. What that tells me is that he was probably 6'-4" and 235 lbs. maybe.
Then he weighed in at the Shrine Game and was 6'-5" 245 lbs. I was happily surprised.
Finally weighed in at the combine and measured up at 6'-5 1/4" and 248 lbs.
I think he is maxed out at 250. He has a thin frame with narrow hips that is going to limit his ability to add good weight. And even though that isn't a bad weight, he needs to add play strength to be an every down edge in the NFL.
He has a great motor, shows nice bend to get the edge and bend around it. Shows nice ability to fight with his hands and has some counters. He also can get narrow to slide thru narrow holes. Can drop into coverage a bit as well. My main concerns are his propensity to slide off ball carriers or end up ankle tackling them as well as his lack of an ability to set an edge in the run game. I think lack of play strength is the root of both issues, so get him a NFL weight room for a year or 2 and you probably have something. 4th round target.
