Ballentine - I only saw the Senior Bowl stuff with him and he had a rough week. I can't grade a kid I just read stuff on so he slipped out based on SB alone. ITs not fair, but I won't lie. I personally like him from everything I've read.
Brown - His lower level of comp, combined with a lack technical skills (again, the WR conversion has him lagging) Just had him down the board. I will be tweeking how I grade as I work out the kinks. He should have been a 4th-5th rounder IMO.
Mark Fields lost his starting gig to AJ Terrell so there is more to Fields then meets the eye.
I. Johnson - his technique is a hot mess, and will need at the very least a year. But I agree with you, if he is this good on ability alone, he could be elite with the right coach and a patient team.
I like the Pitt guys, the platoon thing just really worked against them IMO. Neither one is good catching the football and both are 1 cut and downhill runners lacking alot of wiggle. IMO you can get guys like these later. Either guy could play for me any day.
I like Bates, and thought I had him high. You must really like him. I'll go back.
As far as Wesley, its hard to shake where you have a guy ranked, esp. once he ends up being one of "your guys". I know the feeling. I can't shake Mack Wilson for nothing, and every time I watch him all I see is a top 35 player. He could be a 3rd rounder in 2 weeks, but there is no way to score him into that range. Its weird.
I honestly think it happens to coaches, they see a guy the scouts or GM shows him or they saw him at a pro day and its instant love. He falls for the prospect and literally goes blind to all his faults.
