Interesting note. It's been discussed on sports radio here in Boston how the Patriots liked Bortles in 2014 and should he have made it into the 20s they may have gone for him (they had the 29th pick). Like everyone else they were stunned when he was selected 3rd overall. That's when they looked at Garoppolo.
