Also, nuthin is a given IF the call went for the Saints....folks say they saints would have milked the clock....well, they didn't on that 1st down throw and who know what other calls Payton "might" have made in this alternative reality??? Remember, Carroll passed at the goalline in the SB against the Pats??? That's like saying the Hawks were gonna run BeastMode all 3x from the one...but they didn't do that in reality, did they?!! INT Pats for the win.

btw - The Saints went ahead - they were going to win and they just had to hold the Rams from getting a FG...and they couldn't. The Rams had to make that 48yder to tie it. The Saints got the ball 1st in OT - like Brady - but our defense stopped him - unlike the Chiefs. Then, the Rams had to complete two crazy Goff passes to Higbee to get even close to a 57yder...which if we missed the Saints woulda been quite close to win it.

But we made the kick....nuthin is written...that's why they play the game...we Rams fans have to watch AD held over & over every week without a call(maybe we get 1 or 2 per game)...the Saints had the lead and a full field for us to go just to tie...and they blew it. Bad calls by Refs are like player drops or missed tackles...it happens and is part of the game.

It did NOT come down to that one play. It was a missed call but so were a dozen other calls during the game....everyone does the best they can...and that's that.
