CJ and Gurley have totally different styles, that’s a big problem for defenses. The timing and profile throws them off.
CJ runs low to the ground and slides through people, similar to Frank Gore. TG is an upright runner who can explode for big plays more like ED.
Losing Kupp was a big hit, but adding CJ almost makes up for it, especially for a SB run. He totally changed the identity of the team from the high flying Rams to the physical pound you balanced attack Rams.
The 2 headed monster is gonna help Goff tremendously.
The Kiick and Czonka comparison is natural to make, cause it has Goff playing more like Bob Griese.
