Superb find
you bet rk2......outstanding read
Woods is a throwback WR. He really reminds me a lot of the guys from the 70s, 80s. No protection on safeties laying you out, getting the tough catch, and taking the hellacious hit and getting back up, going to the huddle. rinse, repeat.
He's a tough, tough player. Working inside the numbers is grueling. He does it and shines.
He's elite on the edges, too.
What might have been a superlative career right from the start hindered by a wasteland of WRs there in Buffalo, is truth is stranger than fiction lore; As a So Cal college fan, Woods is part of a long list of guys that seemed destined for big NFL moments. His resurrection from the trash heap, to me, is a huge story. Too late, I presume for a "comeback" player of the year, but certainly Woods is destined to continue his ascendance. Boy do I pull for this guy.....
