McVay insists on using pass to set up run...

and it sure did not work last night. He wants to use Gurley, but he knows that teams will first make Goff beat them. In the first half of the season, Goff did....but now Goff is faltering...part him, part o line, so 1st and 2nd down passes fail, we are in 3rd and long and must pass again. Then, we all wonder why is it pass, pass pass? This is why. Granted it is more difficult to run Gurley on 1st and 10 which is more traditional. McVay's MO has been to have D always guessing. It is a conundrum, but I look at it from who is our best player, and the answer is Gurley. He MUST be the focus of the O. The line must also play better. I still have no clue why we released Jamon Brown? Hope we can regroup quickly. ps. I am worried about Goff being good enough.
