11 rushes 28 yards explains a lot

I haven't watched the entire game yet because I had some conflicts, but when I see the posts again calling for Fisher ball, I checked out the stats and was surprised that we were averaging about 2.5 yards per run. I thought it was something that was effective and we got away from it, but what a surprise.. The little bit that I got to watch, I felt the offensive line got pushed around in both the running game and passing game though.

Based on the results, however, I believe it is fair to assume:

The reason the Rams McVay didn't run more, is because the run game was so bad, there were no first downs to run the ball more.

You see, when you get 2 yards per run and you need 10 yards in 3 plays, you come up short, you punt and the other team gets the ball.

When you don't have the ball, you can't run.

McVay is almost the perfect coach. The only thing he stinks at is hurry up offense when the team is trailing late.
