And you're right--we see it differently.
We have faced "good" defenses. Doing so, we have often stalled and sputtered, as we did last week against DET, a good defense. We have shown that we are vulnerable to a good pass rush. The best way to attack our O is to swarm the LOS with numbers of bodies to A] clog Todd's running lanes and B] get heat on Goff. Teams that do this have slowed us down significantly.
And we have not faced a defense of CHI's caliber. They are a step up. I don't think they're truly elite, but they are very tough. If we get into the pattern we have been mired in against DEN and DET, it will be much tougher to break through. IMO, of course.
Well, we'll see. I don't really expect us to actually lose the game. But I'd really rather not see yet another case of Goff going down trying to wait for crossing routes to come open.
