I just disagree with the Goff holding the ball too long idea.
The Rams throw the ball downfield. It takes time for the routes to open up. You can't have it both ways; you can't have intermediate and long routes coupled with getting the ball out quickly. I think Mcvay and Goff will take a couple of sacks in order to keep pushing the ball downfield. And, since Goff stays in the pocket most of the time, he can't just toss it anywhere like so many guys like Luck and Wilson and Wentz and others who take off at the drop of a hat, and wind up outside the tackle box.
But Goff has GOT to get better on ball security. No excuse for that fumble last week. He had time to tuck it PROPERLY away.
