In a season like this where they expect a deep playoff run having the late November bye week helps. For guys like Talib but also Whitworth, Sullivan, Saffold, etc. To have that bye over Thanksgiving and then a 4-5 game stretch run is good timing. Ideally those guys are not playing in week 17 either or at minimum playing only a fraction of that game. The Rams may have to scoreboard watch the Panthers-Saints to see who plays that afternoon vs SF.
And then a bye over wildcard weekend. It really is good for them.
