but not so in the second
The Rams tied that game because 3 series in a row the Rams defense forced the Saints to punt. On the Saints 4th possession of the half the Rams held them as well and they were forced to kick a 54 yard FG
On the Saints final back breaking score the Rams again had the Saints in a third and long deep in their territory ... Brees saw Peters being a goofball and the rest was history.
Some of you need to watch that game again.
We stopped them plenty in the second half. Brees had 135 yards passing in the second half... 72 from the TD to Thomas late. They stopped them...boy did they!

and couldn't get off the field due to Michael Thomas.
Wade did nothing to disrupt that situation and I was disappointed.
I felt we were playing better because we weren't getting in third down situations early on. While both teams scored, I thought our scoring was "easier".
But...once the game got going, Michael Thomas lit Peters up. Sprinkle in Kamara and Watson and we couldn't stop them.
If you look at it...the Saints were not stoppable in the first half due to three players...Brees, Kamara, Thomas. Kamara got the TDs in the red zone. But it was Thomas who beat the carap out of us up and down the field.
