I think the ability to have Reynolds getting first team reps this week, game planning for plays and situations for him, etc. could help. Against Seattle and Denver he was thrust in mid-game.
I thought last year he did well filling in for Woods. 10 of his 11 catches last year were in those games plus the season finale vs SF.
I agree with the idea that he has to be kept outside vs the slot. Though I'm sure they'll run bunch formations, etc.
Reynolds is a WR4. And a good WR4 will be able to fill in for 1-2 games for your starters. I think he will.
