My comment was to say that the Offensive line did very well----- not to say Goff held it too long; Goff held it too long, and so we got sacks....but, somtimes you have to hold to 3.5-4.0 seconds and throw....which he didn't do.
the 2.5 second rule will ensure no sacks a large amount of the time....butt he 3.5 second rule means (in my book) that the sack doesn't go on the O line--though reallly, I think that should extend to 4 seconds.
SO, the QB must start to throw at 3.5 seconds....if he doesn't I can't say the O line gave up a sack, but just a QB hit....
my rules, I know...
