I think we can safely stash him on the practice squad. As much as many will ridicule his play, Kurt Warner apparently looked like a nobody in Packers' training camp. Ended up, he could play. Not by any means suggesting that Perez will become a starter; merely pointing out that --given a chance-- players sometimes develop into more than initial impressions suggest.
