I don't remember the last time the Rams had two elite CBs.
Arguably, they never did. Have 2. They have had their share of elite CBs over the decades but it's one at a time. Usually a good Rams secondary throughout history includes 2 GOOD CBs. Some might say Monte Jackson and Rod Perry were an elite combo, but when he was playing at an elite level Jackson was a tier or 2 above Perry. Perry was of course good though. Just not Jackson/Talib/Peters level elite.
That's probably why I don't remember it. That and because Perry and Jackson were a bit before my time. I was about 6 when they left the scene.
Watching an elite CB tandem is the next biggest thing I'm excited about this season.
