I saw players running down the field in Philadelphia just blow their knees out in the 90's due to seams in the carpet. I saw it at least twice and I'm sure once in pre-seaon. THOSE guys had a legit lawsuit, IMO.
Bush, on the other hand, slipped on some concrete. Ram players slipped on it all the time. Stuff happens. Its not like he's running down the field, tries to jump for a ball but doesn't jump and just collapses... that is crazy.
FWIW, I'd be interested in the process where they actually proved
when he got injured.
Anyway, this could open up a whole new revenue stream. Players getting hurt due in some part to the field or equipment.
