Who knows why people act the way they do. Some just need the spotlight-always. But were not shrinks and don't know the guy personally. However, I do understand why just about everybody is put off by his on field antics. To me-I don't take anything he does personally. So him not showing up takes nothing away from the ceremony for me-so it doesn't bother me. The irony here is that by not attending he will be the focus again compared to if he had gone. Maybe that's his intention. But who knows.
