Last year this time in OTAs - we did not hear these kinds of things about Goff. When either McVay or for that matter McVay talked about Goff they were very cautious offered little praise at all. No one was talking about Goff throwing dimes and being in command.
It’s just interesting the difference is night and day. Let’s see how it translates to training camp, preseason and big games as you mentioned

It true about McVay being very guarded about Goff last year at this time. That coincides with my view. We needed to see more. To say last year at this time that I have no question in my mind that Goff is gonna be good when McVay was being very cautious comes off more as blind faith than knowledgeable evaluation.
