For so many years I started looking forward to the draft mid season. When your team is bad that is the highlight of the year, the hope of getting better.
I have watched and loved the draft for many years, and usually have been anxiously waiting for it.
This year it seems to have snuck up. I mean I know it is earlier than it used to be, but I also think being present all season followed by being the highlight of sports news before FA opened, then making more moves during free agency and bam, the draft is here.
This off season is radically different then anything I can remember and part of that has to do with the change in culture! I love it!
