How Base D works

3 guys always go to weak side, 3 to strong side. The strong side is the 3 receiver side, usually where TE is. The only exceptions to this is if the offense uses motion to switch the strength and that can catch guys on the wrong side but they just have to adjust and play the defense even though they are on wrong side.
