Cards are making moves that ooze panic.
They really need to go into rebuilding mode; but they're trying to avoid it.
They're in danger of turning themselves into the classic perennial 7-9 team.
Honey Badger was a good player; but injuries and time caught up to him. And, the Cards' D just isn't what he was when he first arrived. Nevertheless his loss shouldn't be dismissed. He provided a lot of emotion and energy to the D.
Why would you pay a mediocre Bradford all that money and then turn around and sign Glennon? Because you don't believe Bradford is going to play all 16 games.
Cards are going to the cellar of the NFC West for a while. They'd be better off making use of being a poor team, using draft picks to restock and using that FA money to pick up some young talent coming off their rookie contracts.
