Hurst is already going to be 25...I don't see any growth there.
Goedert is from a small school and you know...I'm done with small schools unless they are deemed a freak. Goedert has talent...but is no freak. He will definitely fall into that multi year development area...nope...not for me.
Andrews of all has proven he has "it" for red zone...in every year of college.
One of my favorite stats I look for is..."Has the guy done it in college for more than one year?"
Well...Andrews has found the ability to get into the end zone every single year. That's why he is #1 for me.
I'm not a draft analyst like you. For the draft...I look at the stats...and evaluations from people like you to make a judgement.
However, once they get into the pros....I watch...I see...and I judge. Many say too quickly. But...the reality is that if someone doesn't show it in year 1, that more often than not they don't become a star...they become "one of those guys" or they are gone.
I would love to see a edge rusher and TE in our first two picks. If we hit on those, we fix two massive issues...we capitalize on our secondary and we start to fix the red zone issue. As a bonus...we cover the Watkins loss.
And that's all I have to say about that!
Uh...maybe.
