Watkins only had 4 targets that day...
Even though he was open many times for big plays. Compare that to Kupp who was targeted 13 times.
Watkins first target came with 6 minutes left in the 1Q. His next target didn't come until 4:46 left in the 4th quarter with the Rams already down 13 points. If you want starters to be at their best, you need players involved. Especially one of the best players on your team.
I know Watkins is a pro, but I can't imagine him not being affected by not being involved in the offense. Especially if he was getting open all day.
If Watkins is on this team this coming season and he's 4th in targets again, I doubt we get deep in the playoffs.
