It is a shock to the system when I realise we are focusing on playoff seeding as opposed to draft pick seeding.
Even though I liked what the Rams did in the off season, I honestly had no idea how McVay would do as a 1st year HC. I would have been thrilled with an 8-8 record when the season started. Now, 10-6 actually seems realistic considering our remaining schedule. Looks like we have 3 winnable games (Ari, Titans & 9ers), 2 tough ones (Eagles & Saints), and one hard to figure (@ Seahawks).
No way, in my wildest dreams did I ha ve us at 7-3 after 10. We look like a playoff team, but not yet a SB team. After 10 games we have clearly surpassed my expectations!
Even though we lost to the Vikes, it was close through 3 quarters and losing 2 more CB’s to injury was tough to handle. Will be good to see have McVay using this as a teaching moment.
Can’s say for sure we will go 10-6, but the shear fact that it is possible is such a breathe of fresh air!
