Just a couple of comments...
All due respect, but I think you’re being a bit too kind to Watkins regarding his late coming to the Ram party. He joined the Rams on Aug 11, so he had 4 weeks before opening day plus 6 regular season games to establish chemistry with Goff.
He came in as an experienced and established vet, not a rookie. And he looked fine vs the Niners, to say the least. But now he’s regressing. Something’s going on, but I’m Not buying the “not enough time together” excuse for him. I say this with the greatest respect for your football opinions, btw. Sorry.
Yeah, the Rams had 5 sacks of Bortles. And lots and lots of hits and pressures. Today was a whirlpool day for Bortles, I’m sure.
Matter of fact, Rams are tied for 2nd place in the league with 20 sacks, only 3 behind the leader. [

And the Rams do lead the league in pressures (sorry, no link). Wade has them bringing it, no question.
As an aside, do you have any theories as to our struggling O scoring as of late? Our ST scored 20 of our 27 points, for example vs the Jags.
