I suspect that there were more than a few under the table understandings made by Stan and the league owners in order for him to get his wish to move the team to LA. That is too big a deal to happen entirely above board.
I sure don't hear of any other owner chomping at the bit to play in London!
It's a sacrifice the league is making in order to open up the European market. And Stan has signed the Rams up as the sacrificial @#$%& as part of the bargain.
Don't doubt it. It's how (big) business works.
