it's the Socialist revenue sharing...that keeps teams even...

and the Players Union that gives huge contracts and incentives to players to do what they love.
On Any Given Sunday is an incredible truth....and makes the NFL so fun.
Every NFL city really does have a chance to turn things around every other year or so...that's amazing.

I think the setup works really well to produce a great product on Sundays...
other sports should emulate the NFL. imo

ie - Drop the number of games in basketball, baseball, hockey....
make the games have more importance & immediacy. imo
