Just listened to the interview. He's not quoting anyone! No inside info. He was asked if they were in a "wait and see mode" Actually gave a fair answer. No breaking news here or some new revelation. Why are we so quick to respond to a tweet that wasn't even from the reporter himself? It was someone who listened to the interview.

You;re right, he was basically offering informed guesses (though by "informed" I don't mean insider knowledge. He knows the team and has seen every public practice but he has no inside word.)
They were fair guesses, erring on the cautious side.
But no insider reveals. That was all just Gonzalez himself.
