I have rewatched most of the first quarter in slo mo. Our oline did quite well, and especially in pass pro. Brown had the one glaring foopah for sure. But otherwise our QBs operated from a clean pocket most of the time.
What didn't work well was the running game.....until Davis came in AND Harkey joined the blockers. Some of that indeed was the oline; but some was Gurley when he was in. And some was that early on especially the Cowboys once again stacked the box and were aligned for run stopping.
Yes, once we dug down deep enough on the roster the Oline started having trouble; but that's predictable.
Plus we were missing our 6th man, Donnal. He matters.
Are they terrific? Nope. But this is preseason game 1 and has been reshuffled and being taught different technique. It'll take a little time.
