I was seriously thinking of moving because I'm sick of sitting down to watch something I've recorded like the Tour d'France and a storm killing the recording or part of it.
After speaking with the techie department they put me through to retention.
To begin with I thought they were just going to say, 'ok, bye' so I asked if there was anything they could do.
She offered me the usual $20 per month discount for a year and I said, 'probably not enough, can you do anything with Sunday Ticket?'
She went off and came back saying the ST Max (or whatever it's called) is $377 but she could do it for $99.
I said ok if it included the $20 discount too and she said, 'sure'.
So that's $240 plus $278 off ST.
I'm happy with that and told them to send the bill to James JM
Glad you got a price that you're happy with but if the service isn't what you want, is any price good enough?
